Killin is a Neolithic chambered cairn located approximately 800 metres north of Loch Brora in Sutherland, Scotland, dating to the early Neolithic period. The monument consists of a substantial cairn structure constructed in the characteristic style of Neolithic communal burial sites of northern Scotland. As a chambered cairn, it would have functioned as a ritual and funerary monument, serving to contain one or more burial chambers within its stone mass and representing a significant investment of labour by prehistoric communities. The site is designated as a scheduled monument under Historic Environment Scotland and remains an important archaeological record of Neolithic settlement and mortuary practice in the Far North of mainland Britain.
