Lindholme Neolithic timber trackway and platform is a rare surviving example of Neolithic wooden engineering located in Yorkshire, England. Dating to the Neolithic period, the site comprises a constructed timber trackway and associated platform, representing evidence of deliberate landscape modification and route-making during prehistory. The waterlogged conditions at Lindholme have enabled exceptional preservation of the wooden structures, allowing detailed study of Neolithic construction techniques and the organisation of movement across the landscape. The monument provides significant archaeological evidence for understanding how Neolithic communities engineered their environment and established communication routes in what would have been a challenging wetland setting.
