Loch a'Bhiocair is a Bronze Age or Iron Age settlement site located in Sutherland, Scotland, comprising two hut circles and associated clearance cairns situated approximately 800 metres north-west of the loch itself. The hut circles represent the remains of domestic structures characteristic of prehistoric highland settlement, whilst the clearance cairns indicate sustained agricultural use of the landscape, formed through the removal of stones from cultivated areas. The site demonstrates the pattern of upland settlement and pastoral land management practised in northern Scotland during the later prehistoric period. The physical remains, though modest, provide archaeological evidence of how communities adapted to and exploited the Sutherland landscape in antiquity.
