Loch Beag na Furalachd is a cairn and shielings site located in Sutherland, Scotland, situated approximately 1175 metres east-south-east of the south-western end of its associated loch. The site comprises a Bronze Age or Iron Age cairn alongside the remains of shielings, the seasonal pastoral shelters used by Highland herders during transhumance practices. These monuments reflect patterns of land use and settlement that extended across the Scottish Highlands from prehistory through the early modern period. The combination of burial cairn and shieling evidence at this location illustrates the long continuity of human activity in this upland terrain.
