Margmore is a cup and ring marked rock located in Perthshire, Scotland, approximately 580 metres south-southwest of Margmore itself. The rock carries prehistoric rock art in the form of cups and rings, a form of pecked decoration characteristic of Bronze Age and earlier periods in Scotland. Such rock art, whilst difficult to date with precision, is generally attributed to the Bronze Age, though some examples may extend into earlier periods. The site represents an important record of prehistoric artistic expression and ritual practice in the Perthshire landscape.
