Mattersey Priory is a Gilbertine monastery founded in the twelfth century in Nottinghamshire, England. The site preserves substantial remains of the monastic precinct, including elements of the priory church and domestic buildings characteristic of the Gilbertine order, which was the only monastic order to originate in England. The priory was dissolved during the Reformation in the sixteenth century, after which the site gradually fell into ruin.
