Michelham Priory is a medieval Augustinian priory located in the Cuckmere Valley near Hailsham in East Sussex. Founded in the late thirteenth century, the priory was established as a house of Augustinian canons and operated until its dissolution during the English Reformation in the sixteenth century. The surviving structures include the substantial remains of the priory church, domestic buildings, and associated medieval features, all contained within a characteristic moated precinct that reflects the layout typical of houses of this order.
