Mitchell's Fold is a Bronze Age stone circle located in Shropshire on the border with Wales, comprising a ring of standing stones that represents a ritual monument of considerable antiquity. The circle is associated with a cairn and standing stone situated approximately 280 metres to the south-west, elements that together form a significant Bronze Age landscape feature. The stones themselves, positioned on upland terrain, reflect the monumental construction practices characteristic of the second millennium BC, when such circles served ceremonial and possibly funerary functions within prehistoric communities.
