Moated site at Halstead Hall is a medieval archaeological monument located in Lincolnshire. The site comprises a substantial water-filled or partly water-filled moat that formerly enclosed a residential or manorial complex, characteristic of medieval defensive and status-displaying earthworks of the twelfth to sixteenth centuries. Such moated sites are particularly common in the East Midlands and typically indicate the presence of a manor house or other significant domestic structure of medieval date. The monument survives as an upstanding earthwork and represents an important record of medieval settlement and land organisation in the region.
