Hall Yards is a moated site located approximately 150 metres north-west of Tyrell's Hall in Cambridgeshire. The monument comprises a substantial rectangular moat that formerly enclosed a domestic or manorial establishment, typical of medieval settlement patterns in the region. Dating to the medieval period, the site represents a form of land tenure and residential arrangement common amongst gentry and substantial landholding families during the twelfth to sixteenth centuries. The moat itself survives as an earthwork feature, indicating the former presence of a house platform within its bounds, though the superstructure has not survived to modern times.
