North Glensannox is a deserted settlement located approximately 900 metres west of North Sannox in the parish of Bute, Scotland. The settlement comprises the remains of structures typical of medieval or early modern rural habitation in the Hebridean region, though the precise dating and extent of occupation require archaeological verification. Like many upland and island settlements in Scotland, North Glensannox was eventually abandoned, reflecting broader patterns of settlement reorganisation and land use change that affected rural communities from the medieval period onwards.
