Offa's Dyke is a linear earthwork monument forming part of the eighth-century frontier defence constructed under the direction of King Offa of Mercia. This section, located northeast of Nether Skyborry in Shropshire, comprises a substantial bank and ditch measuring approximately 475 metres in length, representing the physical manifestation of the boundary established between the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia and Welsh territories.
