One of two stone hut circles on Corringdon Ball, north of Corringdon Farm is a Bronze Age settlement monument located on high ground in Devon. The hut circles represent domestic structures from the prehistoric period, constructed from stone and forming part of a dispersed settlement pattern typical of upland Bronze Age communities in the southwest of England. The two structures together constitute evidence of sustained occupation and resource exploitation on the moorland landscape during the Bronze Age, a period spanning roughly 2200 to 700 BCE. These archaeological remains are preserved as designated heritage monuments reflecting the long-term human use of Devon's upland areas in antiquity.
