The site comprises structural remains of buildings alongside evidence of agricultural land organisation, characteristic of rural settlement and farming practices in the post-medieval period. The field system demonstrates the continuation and development of land use patterns following the medieval era, reflecting the economic organisation of this part of Fife during the early modern period.
