Oval barrow is a Neolithic or Bronze Age burial mound situated on Stoughton Down in Sussex, England. The monument takes the form of an oval earthwork that represents one of a pair of barrows occupying this downland location, with this example being the southeasterly of the two. Such barrow forms are characteristic of funerary practice during the prehistoric periods, serving as substantial monuments to the dead that would have been prominent landscape features in antiquity.
