The monument comprises parallel linear boundaries, known as reaves, which divide the landscape into narrow strips of land, alongside two associated enclosures that form part of the extensive prehistoric field organisation characteristic of the Moor. Dating to the late Bronze Age, this site represents evidence of intensive agricultural management and land division during the second millennium BCE. The reaves and enclosures survive as substantial earthwork features that demonstrate the scale and sophistication of Bronze Age settlement and land use practices on Bodmin Moor.
