Post mill at Windmill Hill is a timber-framed windmill of eighteenth-century date located in Leicestershire. The structure represents the post mill type, in which the entire mill body rotates upon a single substantial timber post to catch the wind, a design characteristic of early modern English milling technology. The mill's timber construction and surviving fabric provide evidence of vernacular industrial practice during the period of agricultural intensification in the Midlands. As a designated ancient monument, the site preserves an important example of pre-industrial milling infrastructure that once served the local agricultural economy.
