Prehistoric entrance grave 900m north west of Tregiffian Farm is a Neolithic chambered tomb located in the parish of Madron in west Cornwall. The monument consists of a stone-built chamber accessed by a passage, a construction type characteristic of entrance graves found across the Cornish peninsula and dating to the Neolithic period, approximately 4000 to 3000 BC. Such monuments served as communal burial places and represent some of the earliest substantial stone architecture in Britain. The site remains an important archaeological resource for understanding Neolithic funerary practices and settlement patterns in south-west England.
