Prehistoric irregular field system and enclosures with incorporated stone hut circle and incorporated and adjacent cairns 558m north-west of Showery Tor is a Bronze Age settlement complex located on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. The site comprises a network of irregularly planned field boundaries, evidence of domestic occupation in the form of a stone hut circle, and associated cairns which serve as markers within the landscape. The integration of structural and funerary or ritual elements suggests a sustained period of settlement and land use during the Bronze Age, when such upland areas were subject to more intensive pastoral and agricultural exploitation than in later periods. The preservation of multiple components within a single designated site demonstrates the archaeological importance of this landscape as an example of Bronze Age settlement patterning on the Cornish moorlands.
