Sulby Abbey is a Premonstratensian monastery founded in the twelfth century in Northamptonshire. The abbey was established as a house of the Premonstratensian order, a regular canonry movement that spread across medieval England during the High Middle Ages. The site, located near Sulby Farm, preserves archaeological remains and structural evidence of the religious community that occupied it until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the sixteenth century. The physical character of the surviving fabric reflects the architectural conventions of Premonstratensian houses of the medieval period.
