Sulby Abbey is a Premonstratensian monastery founded in the twelfth century in Northamptonshire. The site, located near Sulby village, represents one of the several houses established by the Premonstratensian order, also known as the White Canons, across medieval England. The abbey would have comprised the characteristic buildings of a monastic complex, including a church, cloisters, and domestic structures arranged according to the regular plan typical of the order. Like many English monasteries, Sulby Abbey was dissolved during the Reformation in the sixteenth century, and the site subsequently passed through various hands, with surviving elements now forming the scheduled ancient monument.
