Promontory fort on Helsby Hill is an ancient hillfort situated in Cheshire, approximately 250 metres north-west of Harmers Lake Farm. The site occupies a naturally defensive promontory position and is characterised by substantial earthwork defences comprising ramparts and ditches that exploit the topography of the landscape.
