Reconstructed packhorse bridge from Derwent Hall is a stone bridge in Derbyshire, England, originally dating to the medieval or early modern period. The bridge was reconstructed following the flooding and submersion of the Derwent Valley during the creation of Ladybower Reservoir in the mid-twentieth century, necessitating the relocation and rebuilding of this important structure. As a packhorse bridge, it originally served to facilitate the movement of goods across difficult terrain, forming part of the wider network of trading routes that connected communities across the upland regions of Derbyshire. The reconstruction preserved the essential character of the original stone structure whilst adapting it to its new location, maintaining its significance as a monument to medieval and early modern transport infrastructure and landscape use.
