Redhall enclosure, located 280 metres south-east of Redhall in Berwickshire, is a post-medieval field enclosure. The monument survives as a linear earthwork defining an enclosed area typical of the organised agricultural landscape developments of the early modern period in the Scottish Borders. Such enclosures represent the transition from medieval open-field systems towards consolidated, individually managed farmland, reflecting changes in land tenure and agricultural practice during the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries. The site is recorded within the Scottish national record of archaeological monuments as a significant marker of agrarian reorganisation in lowland Berwickshire.
