Remains of Eye Priory at Abbey Farm is a Benedictine priory founded in the eleventh century in Suffolk, representing an important monastic establishment in medieval East Anglia. The site, now largely earthwork remains situated within agricultural land, preserves evidence of the priory's layout and structural development across its period of occupation. Founded as a dependency of Bernay Abbey in Normandy, the priory functioned as a religious community until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the sixteenth century. The surviving physical features include upstanding remains and subsurface deposits that contribute to the archaeological understanding of monastic life and organisation in medieval Suffolk.
