Falkner's Circle is a Neolithic stone circle located in Wiltshire, approximately 180 metres east of the West Kennet Avenue near Avebury. The monument consists of the remains of a circular arrangement of stones dating to the Neolithic period, forming part of the significant prehistoric ritual landscape that characterises the Avebury region. The site represents an important example of the stone circle tradition that flourished in southern Britain during the later Neolithic, contemporary with or relating to the broader ceremonial complex centred on Avebury itself. Like many monuments of this class, the circle has experienced substantial degradation over the centuries, with only partial remains of its original stone setting surviving to the present day.
