The Replica of the Mohne Dam is a twentieth-century experimental structure located within the grounds of the Building Research Establishment at Garston in Hertfordshire. Built as a scaled model of the German Mohne Dam, which was famously breached by RAF Squadron 617 during Operation Chastise in May 1943, the replica was constructed to facilitate British research into dam construction and vulnerability.
