Roughtor parallel reave is a Bronze Age linear boundary system located on Bodmin Moor in Devon, England. The monument consists of parallel lines of stones arranged to form a substantial land division, typical of the reave systems that characterised the organised landscape management of the second millennium BC. Such reaves served to demarcate fields, control livestock movement, and establish territorial boundaries across the moorland. The Roughtor example is one of several preserved examples of these prehistoric agricultural systems that remain visible on Bodmin Moor today, providing archaeological evidence of the sophisticated land use practices of Bronze Age Cornish communities.
