Round barrow and cup and ring marked rock, 600m south west of Stoupe Brow Farm, is a Bronze Age ceremonial and funerary monument complex located in Yorkshire. The site comprises a round barrow, a characteristic burial mound of the Bronze Age period, together with an outcrop or boulder bearing cup and ring carvings, a form of rock art whose precise chronology remains debated but which may be contemporary with or predate the barrow. Cup and ring marks consist of shallow circular depressions with concentric rings pecked into the rock surface and represent one of the significant rock art traditions of prehistoric Britain. The combination of both funerary monument and decorated stone at this location reflects the ritual significance of the landscape during the Bronze Age.
