Section of a linear boundary from 350m north east of Westfield Farm on Lake Down to Lake Bottom is a prehistoric linear earthwork situated in Wiltshire. The monument consists of a ditch and bank forming part of a larger boundary system characteristic of Bronze Age or Iron Age land division practices in southern England. The earthwork extends across the downland landscape between the two named reference points, serving to demarcate territorial or agricultural boundaries during the later prehistoric period. Such linear features are commonly associated with the organisation of pastoral and arable land in the chalk uplands of Wessex during the second and first millennia before the Common Era.
