The site comprises a single defensive bank and ditch enclosing an oval area of approximately 3.2 hectares, with evidence suggesting construction and use during the Late Iron Age, probably from the 1st century BC onwards. Archaeological investigation and surface survey have revealed pottery and artefacts consistent with Iron Age occupation and settlement activity.
