The Site of Cloister, Chapter House and Undercrofts of Coventry Priory is a Scheduled Ancient Monument comprising the remains of monastic buildings belonging to Coventry Priory, a major Benedictine house founded in the eleventh century. The site preserves archaeological evidence of the cloister garth and associated claustral ranges, including the chapter house where the monastic community conducted daily business, together with vaulted undercrofts that supported the upper storeys of these structures. These remains, now mostly buried or fragmentary, represent the domestic and administrative heart of one of the Midlands' significant medieval monasteries prior to its dissolution in 1539. The archaeological deposits and structural foundations provide important evidence for understanding the spatial organisation and building practices of a substantial English priory during the medieval period.
