Site of Nunburnholme Priory is a Benedictine religious house situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The priory was founded in the twelfth century and operated as a house for Benedictine nuns until its dissolution during the Reformation in the sixteenth century. The site today survives principally as earthworks and buried archaeological deposits, with limited standing structures remaining visible. The priory represents an important example of medieval monastic settlement in the East Riding and retains archaeological significance for understanding the spatial organisation and material culture of a smaller Benedictine community.
