Rotherwas House is a site in Herefordshire comprising the earthwork remains of formal gardens associated with a post-medieval estate. The surviving earthworks preserve evidence of structured garden layouts from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, including terraced features and linear elements characteristic of early modern ornamental gardening. Rotherwas Chapel, also designated as an ancient monument within the same listing, represents an earlier phase of occupation and religious use on the site. Together, the earthworks and chapel constitute an important archaeological record of both medieval religious activity and subsequent developments in landscape design during the early modern period.
