Sithean na Gearra is a hut circle located in Caithness, northern Scotland, approximately 1280 metres south-southwest of a reference point within this upland landscape. The monument dates to the prehistoric period and represents settlement activity characteristic of early highland communities. The structure survives as a circular or sub-circular earthwork, typical of Bronze Age and Iron Age domestic habitation sites found throughout northern Scotland. Such hut circles form an important archaeological record of prehistoric settlement patterns and domestic organisation in the Scottish Highlands.
