This round barrow cemetery is a Bronze Age funerary monument complex located approximately 300 metres north-west of Fargo Road ammunition compound near Salisbury in Wiltshire. The cemetery comprises six bowl barrows and two disc barrows, representing typical examples of Early to Middle Bronze Age burial practice in the region, dating to approximately 2200–1500 BCE. Bowl barrows, the predominant form at this site, consist of a central burial mound with a surrounding ditch, whilst the two disc barrows feature a flat central platform enclosed by a ditch, indicating variation in funerary custom within the same cemetery. The survival of multiple barrows in close association provides evidence of sustained use of this location as a burial place during the Bronze Age and contributes to understanding of mortuary practices and landscape use in the Salisbury Plain area.
