St Faith Priory is a Benedictine priory founded in the eleventh century at Horsford, Norfolk. The house was established as a cell or dependency of the Norman abbey of Saint-Saëns in Normandy, reflecting the cross-Channel monastic connections common in the Norman period. The priory occupied a modest position within Norfolk's monastic landscape and maintained its dependency status until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the sixteenth century. Archaeological and documentary evidence attests to the site's occupation from its foundation through the early modern period, though substantial structural remains from the medieval phases are not extensively preserved above ground.
