St Michael's Priory is a Benedictine monastic foundation situated in Hampshire, England. The priory was established in the eleventh century as a dependency of the Norman monastery at Montebourg in Normandy, reflecting the close ecclesiastical ties between post-Conquest England and northern France. The surviving remains consist of substantial stone foundations and architectural fragments that evidence the scale and character of the medieval religious community that occupied the site. The priory functioned as an active religious house until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the sixteenth century, after which the buildings were gradually dismantled and the site fell into disuse.
