Stanydale is a Neolithic cairn located approximately 200 metres north-north-east of Northdykes in Shetland, Scotland. The monument dates to the Neolithic period and represents one of the significant funerary or ceremonial structures of its era in the northern isles. The cairn's physical form and construction are consistent with Neolithic burial practices in Shetland, where such stone-built monuments served as focal points for communal deposition of the dead or ritual activity. Its survival in the Shetland landscape contributes to understanding the settlement patterns and funerary traditions of Neolithic communities in Scotland's most northerly region.
