The site comprises a stone circle and associated cairnfield, representing significant prehistoric ritual and funerary activity in the region. The stone circle itself consists of upright stones arranged in a circular configuration, whilst the surrounding cairnfield contains numerous burial mounds typical of Bronze Age funerary practice.
