The Abbot of Ramsey's manor is a moated site located immediately north east of Illing's Farm in Huntingdonshire. The site comprises a substantial rectangular moat that once enclosed a manorial dwelling and its associated buildings. Dating to the medieval period, the moated enclosure represents the physical remains of a property held by Ramsey Abbey, one of the most significant Benedictine monasteries in East Anglia. The preservation of the earthwork demonstrates the established pattern of monastic landholding and manorial administration in the region during the Middle Ages.
