St Mary's Priory at Nuneaton is a Benedictine priory founded in the eleventh century, originally established as a cell of the English monastery of Fontevraud Abbey before becoming independent. The priory operated as a major religious and economic centre in medieval Warwickshire until its dissolution in 1539 during the Reformation. The surviving remains within the scheduled precinct include fragmentary masonry and earthwork evidence of the monastic complex, situated in the historic core of Nuneaton. The site represents an important example of medieval monastic settlement and its archaeological record continues to yield evidence of the priory's substantial medieval significance in the region.
