The Berth is a late Iron Age hillfort situated near Baschurch in Shropshire. The monument comprises a substantial univallate enclosure defined by a single rampart and ditch, occupying approximately 4.5 hectares on elevated ground. Excavations and archaeological survey have revealed occupation dating primarily to the late Iron Age, with evidence suggesting use extending into the Romano-British period. The site represents a significant example of Iron Age defensive settlement in the West Midlands region, with its physical remains substantially preserved beneath modern grassland.
