The Cockpit stone circle and seven adjacent clearance cairns, Moor Divock, is a Bronze Age ritual and settlement complex located on the moorland of Westmorland. The stone circle itself comprises a ring of upright stones forming a ceremonial or communal gathering space typical of Bronze Age religious practice, whilst the clearance cairns represent evidence of contemporary or subsequent agricultural activity, indicating land management and cultivation on the moor.
