Thetford Warren is an ancient monument in Suffolk comprising the earthworks and buried remains of the western boundary banks of a medieval and early modern rabbit warren, along with associated trapping banks, enclosures, and the warrener's house known as Reed Fen Lodge. The site dates primarily to the medieval period and later, representing the infrastructure of commercial rabbit farming which became economically significant in England from the thirteenth century onwards. The boundary banks and trapping systems visible as earthworks reflect the sophisticated management required to contain and control the rabbit population, whilst the warrener's house evidences the permanent habitation necessary for such operations. This archaeological complex demonstrates the material culture and land-use patterns of medieval and post-medieval agricultural and hunting enterprise in East Anglia.
