Three bowl barrows on Milborne Down is a Bronze Age funerary monument complex located in Dorset, situated on the slopes north-east of Weatherby Castle hillfort. The barrows, positioned at approximately 520 metres and 585 metres from the hilltop obelisk marker, represent a typical distribution of burial mounds characteristic of the Bronze Age period when such monuments were erected across the chalk downlands of southern England. Bowl barrows of this type consisted of a central burial pit or grave, covered by an earthen mound, and collectively formed part of the broader ceremonial and burial landscape that developed on the Dorset downs during the second millennium BCE. The site remains of archaeological significance as evidence of Bronze Age settlement patterns and burial practices in this region.
