Tor cairn is a Bronze Age funerary monument located 650 metres south-south-west of Caradon Hill summit on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. The site comprises a substantial cairn of stacked stones associated with an adjacent sub-rectangular hut structure, typical of the domestic and ceremonial landscape characteristic of the Bronze Age upland exploitation of the moor. The cairn itself represents a burial deposit of the period, whilst the proximity of the hut indicates contemporary settlement activity in this elevated terrain. The monument is recorded as a scheduled ancient monument and remains an important archaeological indicator of Bronze Age land use and social organisation on Bodmin Moor.
