Ugadale Point Dun is an Iron Age fortified settlement located in Argyllshire, Scotland, positioned on a promontory overlooking the Mull of Kintyre. The structure consists of a substantial stone-built defensive work characteristic of dun architecture from the Iron Age period, with evidence of dry-stone construction typical of Atlantic Scottish forts. Its promontory location provided natural defensive advantages whilst commanding views of the surrounding seaboard and maritime approaches. The site represents an important example of Iron Age settlement hierarchy in the western Scottish seaboard, reflecting the strategic occupation of coastal positions by Iron Age communities in Argyll.
