Viator's Bridge is a stone arch bridge crossing the River Dove in the hamlet of Milldale, Staffordshire, on the border with Derbyshire. The bridge dates from the seventeenth century and takes its name from Izaak Walton's companion in "The Compleat Angler", published in 1653, which describes a fishing expedition in this area. It is constructed of local stone with a single arch and represents a modest but functional example of vernacular bridge building from the early modern period. The bridge remains substantially intact and serves as a notable landmark in this rural Peak District landscape.
