Village settlement and barrows east of Gardom's Edge is a Bronze Age monument complex located on moorland near Baslow in Derbyshire. The site comprises a settlement of roundhouses together with a number of burial mounds, or barrows, characteristic of Bronze Age ritual and domestic occupation in the upland regions of the Peak District. The settlement represents evidence of permanent or semi-permanent habitation during the Bronze Age period, whilst the associated barrows indicate the ritual importance of the location for the contemporary population. The monument survives as earthworks upon the moorland and provides significant archaeological evidence for understanding Bronze Age settlement patterns and land use in the English Midlands.
