Windmill Barrow is a bowl barrow of Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date located approximately 40 metres south-west of Windmill Barrow Farm in Dorset. The monument consists of a circular earthwork mound characteristic of funerary monuments constructed during the later prehistoric period, when such barrows served as burial places for members of Bronze Age communities. The site retains archaeological significance as an example of the barrow cemetery tradition that was widespread across Dorset during the Bronze Age, and it remains scheduled as an ancient monument under national protection.
